Slotup (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Slotup mobile apps and slotup.in. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using Slotup you agree to this policy.

Who we are
Slotup provides turf booking software for players and venue owners in India. Our primary market is Nashik, Nashik, Maharashtra. For privacy questions contact support@slotup.in.
Information we collect
We collect information needed to run bookings, payments, and venue operations:
- Account: mobile number, name, email (if provided), and role (player or owner).
- Bookings: venue, turf, slot times, booking status, cancellation details, and check-in records when an owner scans your booking QR.
- Payments: amounts, transaction references, and refund status. Card and UPI details are processed by Razorpay; we do not store full card numbers.
- Location: approximate GPS when you allow it, used for “Near you” venue lists and map features.
- Device: push notification tokens (FCM), app version, and basic diagnostics to deliver alerts and fix issues.
- Venue content (owners): photos, descriptions, pricing rules, and availability you publish.
- Communications: support emails and in-app feedback you send us.
How we use information
We use your data to:
- Create and manage accounts, bookings, and venue listings.
- Process payments and refunds through Razorpay.
- Send booking confirmations, reminders, cancellation notices, and owner alerts.
- Show relevant venues (including distance-based results when location is enabled).
- Moderate listings, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
- Improve reliability, security, and product features.
Legal bases (India)
We process personal data to perform our contract with you (bookings and accounts), with your consent where required (e.g. location and push notifications), and for legitimate interests such as fraud prevention and service improvement, consistent with applicable Indian law including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 where it applies.
Sharing with others
We share information only as needed to run the service:
- Venue owners receive booking details for slots at their venues (name, contact as shown in the app, slot time, payment status).
- Razorpay receives payment data to charge and refund you.
- Cloud and messaging providers host our infrastructure and deliver push notifications.
- We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users, venues, or Slotup.
Retention
We keep account and booking records while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute resolution obligations. You may request deletion of your account subject to outstanding bookings and regulatory requirements.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and payment processing through PCI-compliant partners. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong device lock and report suspicious activity to us.
Your choices
You can:
- Update profile details in the app where available.
- Disable location in device settings (nearby discovery may be limited).
- Disable push notifications in device or app settings.
- Request access, correction, or deletion by emailing support. We respond within reasonable timelines.
Children
Slotup is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on slotup.in/privacy with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
